I love the dramatic shots of swimming pools by photographer Stephan Zirwes. Utisling drones, he takes overhead shots of swimming pools so that the overall image is uniform but really showcases the individuality of each pool from structural shape and props through to the colour of the pool and the quality of the water.

By using a tile like design surrounding each pool in editing really focusses the eye on the pool itself, there’s no distraction at all. In fact if you look at the article on Dezeen, the pool in the most disarray is perhaps my most favourite of all and with the purpose of the project to highlight how important public pools are, this shocking yet beautiful image delivers the message.
