Exhibiting at Click Clock Gallery, Croydon

For the whole of April, I'm excited to be exhibiting some of my latest work at the Click Clock Gallery in the Croydon Clocktower cafe, Katharine Street, Croydon.

For this exhibition, I', showcasing some of my photography of St George’s Walk, opposite the Croydon Clocktower including Kathatine House and the wonderful street art netled into the arches of 20 Katharine Street's brutalist, geometric building. The whole site is now being developed and currently under construction so these pieces are now part of my own personal history of Croydon.

By using small prints, I'm making the viewer focus on the detail and beauty of the brutalist era site. “By concentrating on this detail of the geometry of the facades, colour, structure and contrasting materials, I wanted to invite the viewer to really take a closer look and marvel at what was an intricate maze of architectural wonder,” says Louise.

I'm also exhibiting some of my abstract architectural work with projects of car parks and their concrete beauty, as well as the intricate mosaic facades of Brutalist era buildings.

The Click Clock Gallery is open from 9:30am-5:30pm.

I'll also be in the gallery on Saturday 6th April in the morning - do pop by and say hello.
